Zia Pottery has the Dixie Care and Share Christmas CD’s available for sale. CD’s are $10 and all proceeds go to Dixie Care and Share.
Yvonne Wall, the Wade Family Foundation, and the Dixie Care and Share have produced a Christmas Compilation CD consisting of songs written and performed by Utah Artists. The CD costs $10 and all proceeds will go to benefit the Dixie Care and Share. If you would like to purchase a CD to support the Dixie Care & Share but you do not live in Southern Utah, call 435-862-8913 to purchase your copy.
Dixie Care & Share, a 501(c)(3) charity based in St. George Utah, is an organization of community, an idea created to help those who need help. The facilty creates a way to bring together community resources to operate food banks and emergency shelters in St. George and Hurricane. It also helps those who need education about how to work with others, those who need to be healed, and those who need to learn about a new job or a new path in life.

Hlavka Studios is offering portrait bust and wildlife sculpturing workshops starting December 6, 2011. Workshops will be three, 2.5 hour long sessions where attendees will start and finish a teracota clay piece approximately 16in x 16in x 16in in size. Cost is $375 per person and includes clay, the rental of all necessary tools and stands, and clay firing. Classes will be held at the Hlavka Studio located in Kayenta’s Coyote Gulch Art Village. The Intensive Scare Unit Halloween Party, presented by Equality Utah and held at Kayenta Utah’s Coyote Gulch Art Village, was a screaming success and a howl of a good time. With close to 180 people in attendance (including ghosts, ghouls, sailors, bowlers, mad surgeons, and Botoxic Betty) the Coyote Gulch Art Village was host to another amazing event. All proceeds were donated to Equality Utah, a non-profit organization thats mission is to to secure equal rights and protections for LGBT Utahns and their families.
