The Kayenta Arts Foundation’s mission is to develop and create an environment that fosters diverse artistic endeavors for educational and enrichment purposes.
Among is events since its formation in 2011 are an annual Street Painting Festival; the Quick Draw experience at Art In Kayenta; classical, rock, jazz, and blues concerts, and the fabulous Variety Show featuring the talents of Kayenta’s own.

KAF’s Board is planning for its 2013 schedule. KAF is proud that it is in the black, but quality programs require time and resources. Current funds are insufficient to cover event expenses in 2013 and the nine member Board can use your help.

It costs nearly $20,000 to produce just the Street Painting Festival and the Quick Draw. The KAF Board is working diligently to obtain grants and sponsorships, but these take time. Your donation in any amount would help assure a successful 2013 season. Donation forms are available at the Kayenta Sales Office and the Kayenta Experience; a check to Kayenta Arts Foundation can be sent to Kayenta Arts Foundation, Attn: George Stoddard, Treasurer, 800 N Kayenta Parkway, Ivins, Utah 84738. Remember, donations to KAF are tax deductible.

We will be posting here and elsewhere a call for volunteers. Please consider giving of your time. If you are willing to be on KAF’s volunteer roster, contact Cindy Smith. Volunteer Coordinator, at cindy@kayenta.net.

KAF wants to bring events of interest to you. If you have questions, comments, or suggestions, please contact Judith Kapuscinski, Chair, at 401-952-5462 or at judithk@freqcoor.org.
