Kayenta Street Painting

The Kayenta Arts Foundation is happy to present the third annual Kayenta Street Painting Festival to the southern Utah community on April 13-14, 2013 10am-7pm.  This year we have teamed up with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources with the theme of “Celebrating the Desert Tortoise”.  UDWR will be onsite to show off our live desert friends and provide education on how we can do our part to protect this beautiful endangered species.  There will be several large collaborative and interactive street painting projects that will be based on the desert tortoise.  Just as in years past we are involving local and out-of-town artists along with local students who will all create amazing works of art.  Student winners will be announced at 5pm on Saturday April 13.
